Technicians

We are currently looking for qualified, experienced technicians for both part time and full time positions. Full time is four 8.5 hour shifts per week (1:30pm-10pm).

Performing diagnostic tests — radiographs, lab work, prepping cytologies, etc. Sedating patients and assisting in sedated procedures Assisting in stabilization of unstable patients prior to transfer Working as a team with other technicians and Drs to ensure rapid treatment of patients to minimize wait times Working as a team with other technicians and client care specialists for end of shift cleaning and preparation for the following day.

Client Care Specialists

We are currently looking for full time client care specialists, although we are open to part time as well. Full time is four 8.5 hour shifts per week (1:30pm-10pm).

The role of a client care specialist is to greet clients and patients as they enter the practice, open new accounts for new clients and check in existing clients, take payment for services rendered, answer phones, monitor online appointment booking to ensure the reason for the appointment is appropriate for urgent care, as well as maintaining a clean and visually pleasing waiting area for clients. Client care specialists also will need to work as a team with technicians to clean exam rooms in preparation for the next patient/client, as well as end of shift cleaning and preparation for the following day.

Veterinarians

We are currently looking to hire a part time or consistent relief veterinarian. Part time would be two 8 hr shifts per week. For relief, we would be looking for 1-2 shifts/week, or what you can offer. Urgent care practice is meant for URGENT but not necessarily EMERGENT conditions affecting our pets. This can include such things as lameness, vomiting/diarrhea, low appetite, ear infections, skin infections, UTI, coughing, allergic reactions, laceration/wound repair/treatment, etc. The online booking will be closely monitored to ensure these appointments are appropriate for urgent care as opposed to a 24 hour emergency and referral hospital.
